Whimsical, one of a kind, functional, stable, artistic, large, and exceptionally beautiful! This lamp took two months of creativity, attention to detail, and was carefully curated with functionality in mind. The concept started with a vision while holding the piece of driftwood. It had naturally curved recessed areas where some had been filled with stone. That inspired me to fill some circular ones with pinecones and the odd shapes with two different types of stone. An easy to clean moss was used as well as sand in small areas to add to the adhesion of the details. This also provides weight on the bottom so that it is not top heavy. Four legs of perfectly dried birch tree limbs were added to the bottom. The edison bulb adds to the shape of every curve. You may add any bulb to this up to 60 watts. The rope is 15 feet, but several feet have been used wrapping it around the driftwood. You can arrange this however you'd like or keep it how I have it displayed. To shorten the rope, simply wrap it around the base... This, too, is aesthethically pleasing. This beautiful lamp measures accordingly- length of base is 26.5 inches long width is 6 inches. 12 inches wide at the widest point on top and is 27 inches tall. The bottom legs are 20.5 inches apart, so as long as your surface is at least that, it will fit. The surface of the base and the entire driftwood piece have been hand painted with epoxy.
